Transcriptional evolution in Olympic via… Nottingham Forest!

Born in New Zealand (Wellington), Stamenic is of Serbian and Samoan descent. His father is from Novi Sad, Serbia. After his outstanding performances for New Zealand in the U17 World Cup in 2019, and despite interest from Flamengo, Stamenic was invited for a three-week trial with the Copenhagen team in March 2020. However, following the New Zealand government’s mandate that all New Zealand citizens residing overseas , to urgently return to the country due to its pandemic COVID-19, was forced to abort the test. Copenhagen maintained its interest and Stamenic eventually returned to Denmark, signing for the club’s K19 on September 1, 2020.
Stamenic did it debut his debut for the first team on 23 November 2020. On 9 January 2023, Copenhagen announced that they would not be extending his contract, which was set to expire in June 2023, as Stamenić had chosen to look for another station for his career.
