The “red and whites”, with a touching message, said goodbye to their great athlete, stressing that the Olympic will forever remain her second family and that in this relationship there is no “goodbye”, but only “see you again”.
The 27-year-old developed into one of the top players in her position in Europe and thrice conquered the European Championship (2015,2021,2022), three European Super Cup (2015,2021,2022), one Len Trophy (2014), eleven Greek Championships and five Cups.

And yes, it’s hard to say goodbye to Eleftheria Pleuritou! 13 years together. Half the life of the now 27-year-old Eleftheria is “red and white”.
At Olympiakos, we remember as if it were yesterday the moment he wore our cap for the first time, the cap with the laurel-crowned teenager. A little girl then, full of ambitions and dreams. We are proud that that smiling, shy girl developed into one of the top players in the sport and of course, as one of the iconic figures in the history of the Legend Women’s polo team!
We took it all together, these 13 years. 24 trophies, in Greece and Europe! Seven European titles namely, three Champions Leagues, three LEN Super Cups, one LEN Trophy. And not only. 11 championships in a row (2014-24), five Greek Cups and one Super Cup!
Eleftheria Pleuritou grew up in our club. He “bonded” with Olympiakos and his world. She also honored the legend’s cap with the… above, both competitively and with her exceptional personality.
