Dimitris Katsivelis was born on October 1, 1991 in Thessaloniki, he is 1.98m tall and plays as a guard. He started his career from the Mantoulidis academy team and in the summer of 2010, he signed a five-year contract with Olympiakos. With the “red and white” he won the EuroLeague twice (2012, 2013), the Intercontinental Cup in 2013, he was also twice champion of Greece (2012, 2015), and once (2011) Greek Cup winner.

In the continuation of his career he competed in AEK (2015-16) and immediately after (2016-17) he competed for the first time abroad and more specifically in Kazakhstan with Astana, with which he won the Championship and the Cup. Return to Greece for the 2017-18 season and his first collaboration with PAOK, with whom he won 3rd place in the league, in an admittedly excellent season. Two seasons followed at Prometheus Patras (2018-20), his return to AEK (2020-21) and annual collaborations with Peristeri (2021-22), Kolossos Rhodes (2022-23) and Aris (2023-24). .
