The Crete team announced that the 36-year-old goalkeeper has signed a contract until the summer of 2025. He was acquired in 2018 and has made 62 appearances during that time.

PAE OFI 1925 announces that Dimitris Sotiriou will be a member of our team for the 7th consecutive season, now inextricably linking his name to OFI and Crete.
The experienced goalkeeper, who signed a new contract until the summer of 2025, joined the roster in the summer of 2018, having kept 62 clean sheets for our team to date.

Shortly after signing his new contract, Dimitris Sotiriou emphasized:
“After six years of being here, OFI is more than a team for me. I have experienced many good, but also difficult moments in the team, but what we have been through together is the reason for me and my family to “bond”, even more with the team and with Crete and the Cretans. Obviously I am very happy that for the 7th consecutive season I will be a member of the OFI family and all I want is with my experience and of course with my teammates to do the best for our team“.
