He said “goodbye” to Panathinaikos Vitor Hugo.
The Brazilian central defender is leaving the “greens” after his six-month loan from Bahia ended and formally as a result he is now repatriating. In his short tenure with the “trefoil” the experienced stopper just recorded 10 appearances.
With a message on his personal account at Instagram Ugo said goodbye to Panathinaikos, thanked the people of the club, while he noted that despite the fact that he will be in his homeland, he will support the Athenian club.
Analytically:
“Today, 30/6, my contract with Panathinaikos ends. It’s been a little over 4 months since I lived in Athens, where I came to a new team, new players and a new league. Yes, a lot of changes in a short amount of time to adjust to.
But despite all that I had the opportunity to be on the pitch and defend the colors of such a traditional team and help them win another trophy.
I made many friends, both inside and outside the team who helped me a lot and some of these friendships I intend to carry with me throughout my life.
I want to thank God first for the opportunity to live this experience, my Greek friends for their support and the fans of Panathinaikos who treated me so well. Now we part ways, but I want you to know that even from afar, you won another supporter.
May god bless you. We’re done.”
