Mitsotakis visit to the National team: The wishes and gifts he received

The Prime Minister, Kyriakos Mitsotakisvisited her Men’s National Teamat the hotel where the missions of the six teams that will participate in the Pre-Olympic Tournament of SEF.

The Prime Minister was welcomed by the president of the EEC, Vangelis Liolios and he was escorted to the room where all the members of the group were waiting for him. Mr. Mitsotakis wished the team good success, recalling that he was on the field during the 1987 triumph in SEF and expressing the belief that everything will go well, then the happy end of the effort to host the Pre-Olympics in Greece.

“Our relationship with the National Basketball Association is known and given. And love is a given“, noted the Prime Minister while talking to the players and the staff of the National Team. “We are very happy – and I say this on behalf of the whole team – that you are here with us, because this shows not only the support, it shows all the positive energy and all the vibes, I would say, positive, from all over Greece. We represent all of Greece, so we feel that we are all one body and that’s how we go to win“, said the President of the EEC.

“And for my part, Mr. Prime Minister, and for the players, we want to thank you for coming here, because the National Team does not look at anyone, it is above everyone and it is national pride and honor that we are here, as Greeks“, emphasized the coach of the national team, Vasilis Spanoulis.

The members of the National Team thanked Kyriakos Mitsotakis for his support in organizing the Pre-Olympic Games in Greece. “We have done our best to organize a good Pre-Olympics. Enjoy it and make us all happy“, said the Prime Minister, to whom the EEC, through the hand of Vangelis Lioliou, offered a symbolic gift of a laurel wreath, the leader Kostas Papanikolaou a basketball and Vassilis Spanoulis a shirt with the name of the Prime Minister, signed by all.
