The latest information from the Panathinaikos report was transmitted to News Bulletin 247 by Nikos Athanasiou.
As he mentioned, the greens have progressed the procedures for the acquisition of the left back pointing out that possibly within the next few hours there will be its completion.
“We are in the details phase to be announced. Today Tomorrow. Panathinaikos has settled on the player they want and all that remains is to find out who it is. I reckon we’ll know who it is by tomorrow night”he said and added:
“Then Panathinaikos will put the burden on acquiring an extreme midfielder.”
Nikos Athanasiou pointed out that the greens will get two quite quality wingers who will cover Alonso’s “wants”, while he underlined the need to fill a large void in quality that has been presented by Bernard’s departure from the team.
Finally, he referred to today’s friendly game with Paphos stressing that this is essentially the first game from which they will be able to draw conclusions about how much the things that the coach of Panathinaikos has been working on in the training sessions in Austria have started to come out.
