OUR “Final Countdown”, a special dance act was presented, for the first time, by PPC with Nikos Galis during the half-time of the National Men’s Basketball Team match against the Dominican Republic, at the 2024 Pre-Olympic Basketball Tournament, at SEF, on July 3rd. The leading Greek athlete, together with a group of 40 artists and players with and without disabilities, starred, to the sounds of the 1987 EuroBasket anthem, at the PPC performance, directed by Konstantinos Rigos.
The spectators of the match who were at the Peace and Friendship Stadium, to support the National Team’s effort to qualify for the “Paris 2024” Olympic Games, watched a show with important messages about equality and inclusion in the field of sports and not only .
Together with Nikos Gali, the actress Loxandra Loukas, the first woman with Down syndrome to perform at the Ancient Theater of Epidaurus, the internationally renowned mezzo-soprano Lenia Zafeiropoulou and the internationally recognized tenor Dimitris Paksoglou, joined forces with the group – a “phenomenon” Potentially and MC Yinka on the mic setting the pace with his unique flow “All Equal, All Here …Power Up the Game” and sent their own message of inclusion and equality.

The Pre-Olympic Basketball Tournament 2024, an event of global interest is being hosted again in Greece after 16 years. With parallel actions on and off the court, basketball fans and spectators of the Pre-Olympic basketball tournament at SEF have the opportunity to take part in shooting challenges, as well as participate in many recreational activities and claim collectible PPC gifts.
The grand final will be held on July 7 at SEF and the spectators will have the opportunity to closely watch a corresponding performance with the former international basketball player, Dimitris Diamantidis. The winning team of the tournament will travel to Paris and compete for the Olympic gold medal.
