He comes from a sports family, as his father Cedric Henderson played basketball and during his career played 5 seasons in the NBA (with Cleveland Cavaliers and Golden State Warriors).

Cedric Henderson Jr. played three seasons at Campbell University, but graduated from Arizona in the 2022-23 season. In 25 games with the Wildcats he averaged 8.1 points (with 40% on 3-pointers), 3.5 rebounds, 1.1 assists.

In his rookie year as a professional, he played in the Romanian league in the 2023-24 season and in 34 games with BC Constanta he had 15.9 points (on 41.7% three-pointers and 85% shooting), 3.9 rebounds and 2 assists per match».
