Olympiacos announced the transfer of Dimitris Konstantinidis, with the 30-year-old libero competing in the “red and white” men’s volleyball team in the 2024-25 season.

The relevant announcement in detail:

“OLYMPIAN S.F.P. announces the start of his collaboration with Dimitris Konstantinidis. The Greek libero (born 5/8/1993, 1.88m) signed his new contract and joins the roster of the club’s Men’s Volleyball team.

Dimitris Konstantinidis started his career at AO Orestiadas, where he played from 2009 to 2016, with a one-season break (2010-11: Ethnikos Alexandroupolis). In the four years 2016-20 and last season (2023-24), he wore the shirt of PAOK, while he has also played for Foinika Syros (2021-23) and Iraklis (2020-21).

The 31-year-old libero has won a Greek championship, two Cups and a Super Cup.

Konstantinidis’ statements on the Olympiakos website: “It is a great honor for me that from the new season I am also a member of the team of the champion and cup winner of Greece. Thanks to the administration and coaches for this opportunity! The homogeneity that the team has acquired since the main body remained, in recent years, so that a few additions are made each time, makes it possible and will play an important role for the difficult and demanding years to come. The goal of Olympiakos, as every year, is the top and we will work hard to stay there. I hope, we will have a very spectacular and competitive championship, with health and without injuries. Good summer to everyone””.
