THE Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova is one of the best athletes in women’s tennis, in particular she is in 14th place in the World Rankings, but her Russian citizenship did not prevent her from expressing her indignation at the situation in Ukraine after the attacks by the army of her homeland.

Initially, on her instagram account, the Russian athlete confessed that the current condition terrifies her:

«I have been playing tennis since I was a child. I have represented Russia all my life. It is my homeland. But now I’m afraid for myself, my friends and my family. Although I’m not afraid to express my opinion. I am against war and violence».
