“Dimitris Stergiopoulos is the new Occupational Physiologist of PAE AEK.
He graduated from SEFAA (EKPA, Athens 2010) and completed his postgraduate studies (MSc), PMS in Exercise Biology, majoring in Occupational Physiology at the same University institution. He is a PhD candidate in Occupational Physiology and in 2022 he successfully applied for one of the scholarships awarded by UEFA for scientific studies (Research Grant Program 2021/2022).
He has presented original scientific papers at international conferences. It is worth noting that recently at the 20th International Conference on Environmental Ergonomics (20th ICEE 2024) which took place in Jeju, South Korea, June 3-7, 2024, with the participation of 29 countries from all over the world, his work was among those awarded by the scientific committee of the conference for their innovation and contribution to science.
Dimitris Stergiopoulos was the Occupational Physiologist of the AEK PAE Academies from 2016 to August 2020. From October 2020 until his new collaboration with AEK, he was the Occupational Physiologist of the AEK Olympiacos Academies.
