Tarnatoros remains in the presidency of ESAP

The ESAP General Assembly started with the last meeting of the outgoing League Board and the welcoming of the representatives of the Pre League champion, Flisvos Palaios Faliros, and the Pre League runner-up, OFI, who returned to the Men’s Volleyball League after a year absence.

Then, the General Assembly started. Giorgos Dionas was appointed President of the General Assembly and Giorgos Papadopoulos as Secretary of the Assembly. This was followed by the administrative, financial and competition report for the two years 2022-24, which were approved and followed by the nominations for the appointment of a new Board of Directors.

Mr. Dionas proposed to the body the renewal of the term of office of the president of the Board of Directors, Pantelis Tarnatorou, who was finally re-elected president with 9 votes in favor and one abstention.

The first meeting of the new Board of Directors followed. Pantelis Tarnatoros thanked his colleagues for the trust they showed him and for his re-election for the eighth time as president of the League.

Afterwards, the new Board of Directors was constituted.

This was followed by the presentation of the 2024-25 season budget. The ESAP president informed the members about the negotiations with ERT. He also informed all ten TAA that by the 15th of the month they should have sent their files to the EAA for approval, in order to participate normally in the next men’s Volley League event.

The decision of the Board of Directors of ESAP was unanimously updated that for the 2024-25 season there will be ten teams in the Men’s Volleyball League, as follows: Olympiacos S.F.P., Panathinaikos A.O., A.O.N.S. .Milon, P.A.O.K., A.O.P.Kifissia, Pegasos Polichni, Athlos Orestiada, A.O.Finikas Syros, Flisvos Palaio Faliro, O.F.I.

ESAP relations with EOPE and PASAP were discussed and it was agreed at the July 23rd meeting to discuss issues of organization, draw, programming, licensing and television rights for the new competition season.
