Elite League newcomer Errikos Dunan, Vikos Ioannina, announced the acquisition of 23-year-old forward/center Fotis Georgalas, strengthening its racket roster ahead of the new season.

“The management of Vikos Falcons announces the addition of Fotis Georgalas to our team’s roster for the 2024-25 season, during which our team will compete in the Elite League.
The 23-year-old forward/center has a height of 2.04 and for the last 2 years he has been competing in Elite League teams, while he has also made several appearances in the Basket League with the Herakles jersey.
Fotis began his first basketball steps at the Asteria Thessaloniki academy. In 2018, he was transferred to Iraklis with whom he played in several games in the Basket League until 2021.
The Falcons’ new signing has been a key member of the boys’, boys’ and juniors’ National teams. Last year he played with the jersey of Koroivos Amaliadas, averaging 13 minutes in 19 games, 5.6 points and 4.1 rebounds. In the 2022-23 season he played in NE Megaridas having in 19 games and 14 minutes of participation, 6.6 points and 3.8 rebounds.
