Herakles renewed with Malesevich

Nikola Malesevic will continue to compete in Iraklis. The contract of the 35-year-old forward was renewed and he will also strengthen the team in the Elite League in the new season. Last season he had 14 points, 5 rebounds and 1.7 assists while averaging 24.2 minutes in 23 games.

KAE HERACLIS announces the agreement with Nikola Malesevic, who will remain in our team for the 2024-2025 season.

Nikola Malesevic was born on August 25, 1989, in Uzice, Serbia, he is 2.02 m tall and plays as a forward.

He took his first steps in KK Sloboda Uzice and then “moved” to the other side of the Atlantic, combining studies and basketball.

He graduated from the University of Rhode Island in 2013, averaging 10.3 points, 5.3 rebounds and 2.1 assists in 28 games his senior year.

His first team at the professional level was the Polish Slask Wroclaw, with which he scored 8.7 points and got 3.4 rebounds, playing 18 games.

In the same season (2013-2014), he played eight games for Bosnian KK Mladost (12.4 points, 4.8 rebounds, 1.1 steals) and two games for his hometown team, KK Sloboda Uzice (22 points, six rebounds, four steals and two assists, on average).

The following year (2014-2015) he wore the jersey of Serbia’s KK Metalac Valjevo, averaging 10.3 points, 4.1 rebounds and 1.8 assists in 25 games in the ABA Liga and 10.6 points, 4.6 rebounds , 2 assists and 1.2 steals, in 13 matches in the Serbian league.

In the two years 2015-2017 he was a player of Steaua Bucureşti. In his first year (2015-2016) his numbers were 14.2 points, 4.1 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 1.4 steals. At the end of that season he played 14 games for KK Sloboda Uzice in the ABA Liga, offering 10.4 points, 4.6 rebounds and 2.8 assists.

In his second year (2016-2017) in Romania he had 40 appearances in the domestic league and his numbers were: 12.8 points, 4.8 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1 steal. He also participated with the Romanian team in the FIBA ​​Europe Cup, where he tallied 12.7 points, 5.7 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 1.3 steals, in 6 games.

The 2017-2018 season found him with the Polish AZS Koszalin, with whom he had 13.1 points, 5.5 rebounds and 3 assists, in 13 games.

In the summer of 2018, he agreed with the Hungarian Szolnoki and in 23 matches he scored 11.6 points, collected 5.7 rebounds and gave 2.4 assists. In the same year he played for three matches in Steaua Bucuresti, contributing 12.7 points, 6 rebounds and 2 assists.

In the season (2019-2020), he shared it with OKK Beograd (11.4 points, 4.6 rebounds and 1.4 assists in 7 games) and the Romanian CSO Voluntari (14.4 points, 7.6 rebounds and 2 ,8 assists in 5 appearances).

The following season (2020-2021) he played for Skopje’s KK Pelister Sport Bitola, contributing 18.7 points, 6.3 rebounds and 2.9 assists, in 22 games, while at the end of the year he played for four games in Serbia’s Zlatibor Cajetina ( 10.8 points, 4 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1 steal).

He remained for the second straight year (2021-2022) with KK Pelister Sport Bitola, averaging 16.7 points, 5.5 rebounds, 3 assists and 1.3 steals, in 38 games.

He returned to his homeland on behalf of KK Rabotnicki in the 2022-2023 season and in 21 matches he scored 16 points, pulled down 5.5 rebounds, handed out 2.2 assists and made 1.1 steals. He finished the season at the famous Cibona Zagreb, with which he made 7 appearances (7 points, 2.8 rebounds, 1.6 assists).

Last year (2023-2024) with HERACLES he had 14 points, 5 rebounds and 1.7 assists, playing 24.2 minutes on average, in 23 games in the Elite League.
