The football team of Ionikos did not declare participation in the Super League 2 championship, as the deadline for declarations has passed. Thus he is relegated to the 3rd National League and by law passes again to the amateur Ionian.
From our side, with an official letter, and respecting the long-term contribution of the Tsirigotis family to the football department, we addressed a question to the Management of PAE Ionikos to inform us about its intention in the C National category and if it wishes to continue.
The Tsirigotis family, officially responding to our letter, informed us of their final departure from the football department. Amateur Ionikos thanks them warmly and wishes them every success on a personal and professional level.
Therefore, Amateur Ionikos makes an open call to any potential interested investor who wants to lead the team’s reconstruction effort. This should be done strictly by Thursday 18/7 at 18.00 in order to catch up with the deadline for declaration of participation in the 3rd National Championship, which is noon on Friday 19/7.
