Panerythraikos: Strengthening the racket with Petanide

Second summer move for our team.

The management of the basketball department of the Pan-Erythraikos AS announces the start of its cooperation with the athlete Kyriakos Petanidis, who will compete in our team next season.

The 23-year-old center (5, 2.06), who in the last two years played with Ayandas Evosmou in the Elite League, comes to strengthen Panerythraikos in his racket in view of his obligations, both in the league and in the Greek Cup.

Kyriakos began his career in the infrastructure divisions of Aetos Kilkis, Aris and PAOK, later starting at Aris at Men’s level for two years, before the last two years wearing the shirt of Ayandas Evosmos, with whom last season he scored averaged 5.2 points and 3.6 rebounds per game.

In his first statements as a Pan-Erythraikos player, he stated the following:It’s the first time I’m leaving Northern Greece and I’m glad I’m doing it, to join Panerythraikos, a very well-organized club that takes steps forward every day and gives me the opportunity to live this experience. I already enjoyed playing as an opponent of the team, the image of the platform in the Stelios Kalaitzis Indoor Stadium, and especially with the presence of the Academy children, was very special and I am very happy that, now, I will experience this atmosphere as a player of the team. Panerythraikos is a family and a very well organized club, which makes me happy to be a part of it. I know the best about coach Houchoulis, who approached me in an excellent way, and I look forward to getting to know him and my teammates, with the aim of achieving the team’s goals together».
