AEK BETSSON BC announces the start of cooperation with Andrea Vicenzutto, who takes the position of assistant coach, in Dragan Sakota’s staff.
The 33-year-old Italian coach began his career as an assistant coach in the 2014-2015 season on the bench of Pienne Basket, his hometown of Pordenone. This was followed by three years (2015-2019) in Bergamo. From 2019 to 2022 he was an assistant at Orzinuovi, and the 2022-2023 season at Trieste, before working with Coach ‘Salle’ at Brindisi last season.
Mr. Vicenzuto said of the agreement with the “Queen”: “I am very excited, and it is an honor, to be in this Association. I want to thank the AEK Organization and Coaches Sakota, who brought me here. I am looking forward to the start of the preparation, to start work in Athens, and I will give my best to help the coach and the Team in every way”.
