The deal will take its form one-year loanwith a mandatory purchase option next summer, amounting to 5 million euros. In this way, the “yellows” will put on their roster an excellent one box-to-box football player, with experience from the high level.
The 25 year old Sifuentes started his career in his homeland playing in Catholic University and then to America de Quito. In January 2020, he bought it for 1 million euros Los Angeles Galaxy with which he made a total of 121 appearances with 15 goals and 20 assists, winning the 2022 double with the MLS team, while the following year he also reached the final of the CONCACAF Champions League.
In August 2023 Sifuentes came to Europe for the Rangers, who bought him for 12 million euros. He debuted in Champions League against Servette and played 20 games for the Glasgow club until last January, when he was loaned to Cruzeiro. There he failed to make his presence felt, he returned to Rangers with whom he has a contract until 2027, while he will now continue his career at Aris.
