The “lions” after the acquisition of Koutsogoulas and Karamanolis in the last 24 hours, on Saturday morning (27/07) announced the Wilfrid Kaptum.
The Cameroonian midfielder was heavily interested in Panserraikos, who managed to make him theirs for 1+1 year. Until recently, the 28-year-old was competing in AEK Larnacawith which he had 20 appearances in the completed season.
In detail, the announcement:
“PAE Panserraikos announces the start of its cooperation with the football player Wilfrid Kaptoum, who signed a cooperation contract with our team for 1+1 years and will wear the jersey with the lion on the chest, covering an important piece of this year’s roster puzzle.
Wilfrid Kaptoum was born on 07/07/1996 in Cameroon, he plays as a defensive midfielder and previously played for AEK Larnaca, with which he made 20 appearances in the season that ended.
The 28-year-old footballer is a football product of Masia, the famous Barcelona academy, being there since he was 11 years old and in the same class as several of its current stars.
He initially played in Barcelona B’ and in 2015 he made his debut in the first team, under the instructions of Luis Enrique, also competing in the Champions League, which the “Blaugrana” won at the end of the year!
He then played for 2.5 years in Betis and then in Almeria. In 2021 he moved to MLS and New England, with whom he had 42 appearances and one cup, while in 2023 he returned to Spain for Las Palmas with whom he celebrated promotion to La Liga.
