Trevon Allen became a Karditsa player on Monday. Thessaly announced the acquisition of the 26-year-old American guard for next year, becoming the first transfer of a foreign regional player for the summer season.
Allen last season played in Romanian Voluntari.

“AS Karditsas JAPONIKI announces the addition of Trevon Allen to the roster of the men’s team. The 26-year-old 1.88m tall American guard is the first transfer to the team’s perimeter line.
He was born on February 16, 1998 in Lapway, Idaho, where he started playing basketball. He joined his hometown college, Idaho, where he competed for four years at the NCAA Division I, showing impressive improvement each season. In his fourth and final year, 2019-20, he averaged 21.6 points, 4.9 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 1.7 steals.
In the summer of 2020, he made the transatlantic trip to Europe and his first team was the Polish Starograd, in which in 29 games in the Polish A1 he had 19.5 points, 5.2 rebounds and 2.7 assists in 29 games.
The following season, Allen moved to Italy and the A2 league, where he played in Cantu in the 2021-22 season with 13.5 points, 4.2 rebounds and 1.8 assists. He remained a resident of Italy for the second consecutive season, this time with Cremona, in which he averaged 17.3 points, 4.9 rebounds and 1.9 assists.
The previous year, 2023-24, he was in Romania with the Voluntari shirt, with which he reached the semi-finals of the championship, but also the final of the North Europa League, with himself having m.o. 14.9 points, 3.1 rebounds and 2.4 assists.
