In Melbourne, three Greek internationals help the preparation of the Australian Paralympic table tennis team

Giorgos Konstantinopoulos, Panathinaikos athlete and captain of the men’s national team, Gerasimos Hatzilygeroudis of A.O. Tataula and Ioanna Gerasimatou, who moved to Panathinaikos this summer, are in Melbourne to help prepare the Australian Paralympic table tennis team for the Paris Games.

It was something arranged long ago and our three champions are going to stay in “kangaroo land” until 17/8. Australia has top athletes in table tennis for people with disabilities and at the same time works with the Greek coach, George Logothetis.

The old champion of Greece in the youth categories, who has moved years ago, works as the head coach of the Para Table Tennis national team in Australia, he sent the invitation to the federal coach, Kostas Vatsaklis, and, in consultation with the EFOEPA, she went ahead the cooperation.

From the first days of training, the Greek newspaper “The Greek Herald” (The Greek Herald) was present at the training ground in Melbourne for reporting.
