A basketball museum is expected to be created in Greek following the request of Panagiotis Fassoulas.
The candidate for the EEC elections met with the Mayor of Ellinikos-Argyroupoli, Yiannis Constantatos and they discussed the above possibility, with the latter giving the “green light” to the veteran center.
The announcement
The head of the “Basket First” combination, Panagiotis Fasoulas, met with the mayor of Ellinikos – Argyroupoli and President of the Hellenic Network of Resilient Cities (ElDAP) and President of the Elliniko Commons Management Agency, Yiannis Constantatos.
Panagiotis Fasoulas submitted an official request to Yiannis Constantatos, in order to create in a space that will be granted by the Municipality, the Museum of Greek Basketball, but also a space that will form the base of the National Team.
The Mayor of Hellinikon – Argyroupoli responded immediately and thus the city will be directly connected to Greek basketball, in an inseparable and timeless way.
Details of the whole project, which will enter the implementation phase as soon as possible, will be officially announced at a press conference, which will be given by the candidate for the president of the EEC and the mayor of Hellinikon – Argyroupoli.
Yiannis Constantatos uploaded a relevant post on his Facebook page. “We welcomed Panagiotis Fasoulas as a candidate for the President of the Hellenic Basketball Federation and we wholeheartedly wish him success! We are on his side! We agreed, not on something very big, which will take place in Elliniko and he will announce it himself,” he said.
