After completing the main stage of the preparation in the Netherlands, Mr Olympic starts today the team’s second “assembly” period with four friendly matches in Italy, Greece and Cyprus.
The start is tonight at 19:30 (CosmoteSports 1, sport-frm.gr, News Bulletin 247), with the “red and white” facing the Ternara (Category C) in Italy, in the first of two friendly games they will play in the neighboring country, as tomorrow, Saturday (03/08, 18:00) they will face Roma.
As on Dutch soil, so now, the Piraeus will give two back-to-back games, once again testing several faces and shapes. Let’s remember that friendlies with Ajax (1-0 loss), Malin (2-0 win), Al Cancia (2-2) and Nijmegen (2-0 win) had preceded, games in which his team Jose Luis Mendilibar showed a very positive face.
Olympiacos returned to training last Tuesday, after the two days off which the players had taken on their return to Athens and to their base.
