Penny Argyropoulou became a PAOK handball player again on Wednesday. The amateur “two-headed” announced the acquisition of the international 26-year-old pivot for next year after a two-year stint at AESH Pylaia.

“PAOK and the women’s handball department announce the start of cooperation with the athlete, Penny Argyropoulou, for the 2024-2025 season.
Born on 16/06/1998, Penny Argyropoulou competes as a pivot and is 174cm tall.
She took her first steps in handball from OFN Ionias, where she stayed until 2017. She then spent two years (2017-19) in the AEP Panorama team, gaining valuable experience at a young age from Greece’s top handball division.
The next two years (2019-21) found her again at OFN Ionia, where she stood out with her individual performances. In the 2021-22 season, she played her first term with PAOK Mateco, winning the domestic double.
The next two competitive seasons (2022-2024) found her again in Thessaloniki, this time with the jersey of AESH Pylaia.
She is an international player with the national women’s team of our country, with which she has participated, having a leading role, in great moments in recent years.
Regarding the start of cooperation with PAOK, Penny Argyropoulou stated on the club’s official website, acpaok.gr: “First of all, let me say that I am very excited about my return to the PAOK family. I wish a year full of health, beautiful handball and many successes to our team. We are waiting for you all at the stadium so that together we can conquer even more titles”.
