The announcement in detail:

Athens Kallithea FC announce the signing of Italian striker Elia Giani on loan from Italian Serie B side Pisa, pending the acquisition of his International Transfer Certificate (ITC).

Giani, a 23-year-old, 1.85m second striker, had an excellent season with seven goals and nine assists while on loan at Serie C side Legnago Salus under AKFC coach Massimo Donati.

Born in Empoli, Giani began playing football at a young age in neighboring Pisa, making his professional debut in a Serie B match in December 2019, just before turning 19.

After a six-month loan spell at Serie C’s Pontedera, where he scored his first professional goal in May 2021, Giani spent the 2021/22 and 2022/23 seasons on loan at Serie C’s Fiorenzuola, making 48 total appearances with two goals and one assist

In the 2023/24 season, Giani joined newly promoted Legnago, and his 16 appearances in goals (seven goals and nine assists) was the fourth best in the league, helping the team qualify for the Serie C promotion playoffs.

You’re welcome, Elia.
