The atmosphere in her classes remains… tense Hajduk.

AEK’s potential opponent in the last qualifying round of this year’s Conference League (0-0 in its first game against Ruzoberok from Slovakia) was drawn 1-1 in her confrontation with Locomotive Zagreb for the 2nd matchday of the Croatian league, with the coach of the team, Gennaro Gattusoto talk about his feud with Ivan Perisic.

The Italian left the experienced midfielder out of commission for the game, stressing that his Perisic has asked to leave and that he put him out of the team so as not to spoil the atmosphere in the locker room.

“I had a conversation with Perisic 20 days ago and he told me he wants to leave. Even after what he told me, I gave him a chance to play. No one should jump to conclusions based on hearsay. In the locker room you must respect the rules and your teammates. If a footballer expresses his desire to leave, this can lead to a negative atmosphere in the dressing room. But the matter is not closed. Tomorrow is a new day and Perisic is still here”said the Italian technician characteristically.
