The statements of Michalis Grigoriou in detail:

For his team appearance: “Against last year’s champion, we had a hard time. We had a hard time because we worked a lot, the children did a large part of what we said. We conceded the three goals mainly from inaction, from set pieces. We pressured PAOK, we had courage and opportunities beyond the two goals. May we continue this pattern. Something good is happening.”

On whether PAOK’s pace of play played a role: “Obviously he played an important role. PAOK had four official games, we had four friendlies. The degree of readiness was quite the opposite for us. However, we managed to cope with the maximum”.

For the rest of the season: “We have to build on that performance. The next matchday with Aris at home, I am optimistic that with the support of our crowd, we will win the three points”.
