Trey Woodbury was born on September 17, 1999 and with a height of 1.93m. competes in both guard positions.
During his high school years our new player attended Clark High School and in 2017 he was nominated for the Nevada State Player of the Year award.
He began his college career in 2018 at the University of Nevada Las Vegas (UNLV) and the following year he transferred to Utah Valley University. In his first season he averaged 7.2 points, 4.1 rebounds, 1.2 assists and in 2020-21 he had a breakout season, with 15.6 points, 4 rebounds and 3.8 assists. In 2021-22 he faced an injury that allowed him to compete in just two matches.
His last collegiate season was in 2022-23, where he averaged 13.8 points (40% from three), 5.9 rebounds and 4.7 assists. In March 2023, he became the third player in college history to record a triple-double, and is one of nine players to score more than 1,000 points with the Wolverines. He is the 7th leading scorer and 2nd leading passer in college history. His final season performance earned him a top-five finish in the WAC.
Woodbury made his first trip to Europe last year when he played in Germany for Brose Bamberg. He played in 34 games in the Budesliga, averaging 14 points, 4.2 rebounds and 3.2 assists.
