Papatheodorou: “We will create a very competitive team”

His Media Day was held on Monday morning (26/08). Prometheus of Patras. It was an opportunity for a pleasant break for the team’s players, who have been training intensively for the last ten days, just before the start of the first friendlies for Prometheus.

As part of Media Day, the coach of the Patras team, Ilias Papatheodorou stated the following: “We start the new year with optimism. We are happy that the action is starting again. We have started our preparation for about 10 days. We are waiting for our roster to be finalized. We are training at a very good level at the moment to find our chemistry, but we are very happy with the attitude of the players and we will create a very competitive team to achieve our goals.”.

In turn, the Prometheus player, Linos Chrysikopoulos pointed out: “A new year begins. I personally am in the team for the second season in a row. We have many dreams again this year, but we have not set a specific goal, it is still too early. We have a very interesting team and guys who have made leaps and bounds. Me and Koniaris are here for the second year, we have six new foreigners, but also Lountzis, who is a very good addition for us. We have a lot of ambitions from this year’s team and we will try our best.”

Finally, the President of Prometheus, Mr. Christos Milas stated: “Another year begins. Now we are used to, all the years we have been in the Basket League, to star. But we do it in our own way and with our own philosophy. Last year we presented new faces, we want to do the same this year, and in the years to come. The affiliate team of Prometheus 2014 is also included in this context. We know from now on where we will base ourselves for this year, for next year, and for the coming years and in this sense we have made our planning and will continue to move”.
