Darinda: ‘Important to go into the break with a 3/3 – We will be a strong team this season’

The belief that Aris will be a team to be reckoned with this season was expressed by Vladimir Darida at NOVA ahead of tonight’s showdown with Asteras AKTOR at “Kleanthis Vikelidis” for the 3rd matchday of the Stoiximan Super League.

The Czech central midfielder, speaking about a specific match, emphasized that the “yellows” have gained enough confidence after the 2/2 start and highlighted the importance that the victory against Arkades will have for his team, in order to go to the break with the best possible psychology.

Finally, Darida referred to his own competitive situation, but also to his arrival Martin Friedek.

For the first two matches in the league:“We played two good games at the beginning of the season. We must continue on the same path. It is very important that we started with these grades. They give us confidence going forward. Now, against Asteras, we want another three points. It’s important to go with one more win into the league break and continue that period with strong training.”

For tonight’s game against Asteras AKTOR: “We have seen Asteras in the games he has played so far. It will not be an easy game, because they are a very good team in their transitions from defense to attack (s.b. he means counter-attacks). We have to hold our positions and be solid as a team throughout the match.”
