Palace “blocked” Chelsea and got a point, Newcastle “stole” the victory

by

Of his opponents Panathinaikou in this year’s Conference League, Chelseacontinued to show her weaknesses, showed for another match that the pieces of the puzzle have not “snapped” properly and stayed in 1-1 with her Crystal Palace.

Chelsea had their best first half of the Premier League season this season. With 7 finals, with speed in the counter-attacks – something that Panathinaikos should pay close attention to – and with Noni Madueke in excellent condition, the “blues” took the lead in the 25th minute. Cole Palmer with another assist for this year, set up the goal in Nicholas Jackson for 1-0, with the Senegalese scoring in an empty net.

THE Eze he didn’t want to let the occasion go unexploited regarding the London “battles” he loves and found nets in a terrific way for the 1-1. Palace gained momentum, started to become more threatening, but also to limit the runs of the “blues” in the area and wrote 1-1 in the 53rd minute. Eze, despite the fact that he had 4 bodies in front of him to block the shot, put Sanchez in a great position, now having 19 goals (out of a total of 27 in the League) in the capital.

Palace’s goalblockedChelsea who had to be patient, with Glasner’s “eagles” managing the game excellently. Maresca went so far as to deploy Caicedo at right-back after Gusto was injured and Felix in midfield to bring Mudric into the match. Jackson at 90′ + 3′ was beaten by Henderson in a 4-a-4, failing to give his side the win so there was no change in the score, with the match ending in a draw.

In St. James’ Park, n Tottenham will wonder for some time about the defeat (2-1) who suffered from Newcastle. In the 37th minute, the Magpies took the lead with his amazing shot Harvey Barnes for 1-0, with the “spurs” … struggling in the second half to get something out of the game. They managed to equalize with Bern’s own goal in the 56th minute, they had huge chances to get the breakthrough, they could have taken this game by five goals and in the end… they missed it! In 78′, Zoelindon saw the space in front of Murphy, threw him the ball there and he simply let Isaac for the final 2-1.
