Dimitris Diamantidis: “Panathinaikos is 85% of my career. I spent so many good years here and won titles. It was amazing, I won so many championships, in ’07 in Athens it was unbelievable, in ’09 in Berlin we had a great team and in ’11 in Barcelona. After we beat Barcelona we were very optimistic. I had a great relationship with my teammates, it was great and I’m still happy to be a member of the club even now. I’m not the typical GM. “Together with Francisco Albertis, we try to help the players.”
Francis Albert: “I spent a lot of my career here, it’s not just about basketball anymore but it’s a way of life. I feel at home. We have gained so much here. I was very lucky because I participated in the best moments. We hope to return to these situations now. I have known Diamantidis for years and we had the same philosophy in the team. “What we should do and what we should not do.”
