In the great start he has made this year o OFIbut also in the work he does Traianos Dellas with the Cretan team, mentioned o Vassilis Lambropoulos speaking to News Bulletin 247 and Michalis Tsocho.
The Greek defender spoke about the team’s great victory over him Mars (3-2), but also in his collaboration with Dellawho has taken over the team’s bench.
He also talked about his future, stressing that he wants to see each season separately. But the most important thing for him is to have the performance he wants.
In detail, Vassilis Lambropoulos spoke to Michalis Tsohos about:
– the great victory of OFI on Mars: “After last year we wanted to do a better course. Little by little the new players are joining the team and we are getting better and better. We are keeping the ball low because the season started well last year as well, but then things fell apart. Certainly when you beat Aris and with such an impressive first half you are full of psychology. But we, the more experienced, must remain grounded, as well as the new guys.”
– Europe’s perspective: “Last year we wanted to get into the top six but we didn’t make it. The roster this year looks stronger and it is clear that we are chasing the European tickets. We see how the transfers that have been made can help us become competitive and claim a European ticket, for us, the team, but also for the whole city”.
– the differentiation in the conduct of the championship: “The new format of the championship gives us the opportunity to claim something more than this year. We aim to finish 8th to 5th and from there give everything for the last European ticket.”
– the team’s offensive line: “I know what Dellas wants and what he likes, we have worked together in the past and I know him very well. I believe we will play even better and improve. All the guys on offense have a lot of skill and can all help. Maybe we need a little more time to adapt to 100%.”
– his return to Greece: “I have been through Germany and Spain, but the pressure here is quite high. I struggled in my first steps at OFI, but I believe I’m fine now and it shows on the field as well.”
– how much longer he will play on the pitches: “Time after time it will go. I wanted to see how this season goes and as long as I see that I can be competitive I will continue”
– what does he think about this year’s championship: “We see that the seniors have made very strong transfers and certainly the European matches have affected them all. Of course, even the small teams look quite competitive, with Kallithea as a prime example. I believe we will see a very nice and competitive championship this year.”
