The 23-year-old American forward, who is essentially filling in for the injured Nate Lazewski until he returns, traveled with the squad to Italy and is expected to make his debut tonight.

Donovan Clay was born on January 29, 2001 and is 2.00m tall. plays as a power forward. The 23-year-old American has been with the team since the start of pre-season and will strengthen it at the start of the season.
Clay began his collegiate career in 2019 with the Valparaiso Beacons, where he averaged 9.4 points, 4.6 rebounds and 10.1 and 5.5 rebounds (along with 2.3 assists) in his first two seasons, respectively.
In 2021 he transferred to Missouri State. In 34 games he averaged 8.4 points, 6.2 rebounds and 1.7 assists. In 2022-23 he had 11.9 points, 5.5 rebounds and 3.6 assists, while in his final collegiate year, in 2023-24, he averaged 12.8 points, 5.9 rebounds and 2.4 assists.”
