Osasuna destroyed Barcelona with four, a night of celebration in Pamplona!

by

Pamplona celebrates Saturday night! OR Osasuna triumphed over the Barcelonabreaking it up with the final 4-2 and caused the first defeat of the Catalans this year in LaLigain the 8th matchday of this year’s football season.

Vicente Moreno’s players “hit” exactly where they should, identifying the defensive gaps of “blaugrana” and recorded their 4th straight home win of the current season.

THE Budimir in the 18th minute with a strong header between the stoppers he opened the score, to make it 2-0 in the 28th minute from Brian’s awesome goal. He left alone in front of Peña, dribbled him, scored and…he too was delighted with his big moment.

Barcelona only managed to get a gift to get back into the match, after Sergio Herrera did too much in the 53rd minute big mistake – the second of the phase after a poor clearance from home – and misjudged Pau Victor’s low shot to make it 2-1.

It took a while for Osasuna to regain their composure, the Catalans pressed as hard as they could, without convincing, but leaving such spaces at the back which seemed certain that it would be punished.

And unfortunately for them, they suffered it twice more, to make it happen the result is fantastic! The home side won a penalty in a phase that was typical of how awesome they could expose Barcelona’s players with their sprints.

Budimir scored from the penalty spot in the 72nd and 85th Abel Bretons stole from Yamal, he did it dry, left shot and complete the triumph! Yamal with a control and a left shot in a small space wrote the final 4-2 in the 89th minute.
