The changes in the system of holding the championships of the A1 national category in Greek table tennis have recently given new interest and E.F.O.E.P.A., wanting to further emphasize the importance of the top championship, puts it in the spotlight with a still press conference.
On Friday 11/10, the eve of the start of the games, he will present this year’s men’s and women’s championships to the representatives of the press. The press conference will take place in the SEF federal hall at 15:30 and the main speakers will be the representatives of the 16 teams in the category.
An athlete, coach or agent from each of the 16 participants in the event will be present (eight are the men’s teams and the same number are the women’s) and, of course, there will be reference to various issues of the championships.
The first two days in men’s A1 will be held at SEF. The first two days of the women’s A1 includes matches at the Faleri stadium, but also in Florina.
We remind you that this year’s A1 playoffs will be held with a new system. “After the completion of the two rounds, there is a competitive “playoff”, where the teams compete in a new group of the first round, keeping the score of the first two rounds”, says the general notice of matches, while last season the results of the two rounds were not counted rounds.
The division remains that the first four teams of the regular season continue for positions 1-4 to emerge the champion and the next four for positions 5-8.
