Dunston: “I will forever be a member of Olympiakos, but now I come as a rival”

Olympiacos hosts Zalgiris tonight at SEF, in its first home game for this year’s Euroleague and after last week’s defeat by Fenerbahce.

Statements ahead of tonight’s (21:15) match were made by the former center of the “red and whites”, Bryant Dunstonwho wore the shirt of Piraeus from 2013-2015 and emphasized that he will always feel like a member of Olympiakos, but made it clear that tonight he returns as an opponent who is ready for a difficult challenge.

In detail what he said:



“I am now used to traveling abroad. It was nice to have the fans on our side. You have the good and the bad. You have the excitement of winning against Barcelona and the agony of losing to Ritas. We entered the gym again, worked very hard the last few days and prepared for the game against Olympiakos. It will be a very big battle. It was good that we played against Ritas in this kind of game, because it will be the same with Olympiakos.

I know many of us watch the video of the matches alone, some watch their own highlights to see what they did wrong. When we see and together as a team discuss what we can do better and the moments where we weren’t ourselves, we try to fix them in the next match».

For the game against Olympiakos: “Olympiacos looks very good. Lots of talent, they have some of the players they’ve had for a while. They play together, move the team and play suffocating defense, so it will be very difficult for us in attack and we will have to pay attention to the small details and not miss a step in attack”.

On whether Fal’s injury is game-changing: “It makes everything more dynamic. They have Petrusev, they have Wright who also play at “5”. They can move a lot faster and shoot a little better, they have a lot of ‘guns’ so it’s a challenge but I’m up for it.”.
