Men’s National Team: The match against Great Britain is at PAOK’s stadium

Four months after the friendly with Puerto Rico, the National basketball team returns to Thessaloniki and “Palataki”. OR headquarters of PAOK will host on November 24 the match of the “official favorite” with Great Britain for the EuroBasket 2025 qualifiers. The Greek team, we remind you, has started with two victories, with the Czech Republic at home and the Netherlands away, while the last “window” is scheduled for February with the games against the Czech Republic away and the Netherlands at home. The top three teams of each group advance to the finals.

In the next two matches against Great Britain in November o Vasilis Spanoulis will not have, at least in the first (away), most Euroleague players, as there is a Thursday-Friday game scheduled. On the contrary, in the last “window”, that of February, there is a break from the Euroleague and potentially everyone will be available.

Thessaloniki and the “PAOK Sports Arena” will host the match between the Men’s National Team and Great Britain on November 24 for the EuroBasket 2025 qualifiers. This is a game of the fourth game, while three days before, on November 21, match between the two teams in Great Britain.

The Men’s National Team returns to the “PAOK Sports Arena” after the July 16 friendly against Puerto Rico (67-65). The previous official match of the Men’s National Team in Thessaloniki was on November 28, 2021 against Belarus (77-67) for the World Cup qualifiers, a game that was held at “Alexandreio”.
