His second defeat in this year’s Euroleague was suffered on Friday night (18/10) by Olympicwho buckled from his mistakes in the finale of the match in Istanbul, losing by a score 91-89 from Anatolou Ephesus.

Among the protagonists for the “red and white” was Evan Fournier, who finished the match with 20 points, in his most productive game against Piraeus.

Speaking after the match, the French ace appeared disappointed with the result, but also with his own mistakes at the end of the match, which largely determined the outcome of the match.

Evan Fournier’s statements in detail:

About the game: “The most important thing was our defense. We started well, but conceded 30 points in the second quarter. We got a gap at the beginning, but when they found a rhythm too it became difficult. We were up by 15 points, we had to control the game.”

Finally, all three mistakes: “It’s my fault in both cases. In one case I dribbled high and in the other case I made a wrong pass. I felt good overall in the match, but it was two big mistakes at the end and that’s disappointing.

There are always positives and negatives. We moved the ball well and we have to build on that and get even better and lock games down.”
