OR Anna-Niki Stamolambrau she had been suffering for some months from a problem in the abdominals – adductors, as a result of which surgery was required to relieve her. An operation, the cost of which, as she revealed in a post on social media, was personally undertaken by Yiannis Alafouzos.
The “trefoil” guard, who was amazing in the derby against Olympiakos, scoring 19 points, had spoken after the end of the game about her injury, stressing that these games are played with the heart: “I’ve been plagued by minor injuries lately, but these are games of heart. I had troubles but left it all behind. I would give anything for my team to win».
At the same time, the captain of Panathinaikos also thanked her doctor, Konstantinos Konstantinidis, who in the past had, among others, performed operations on Dimitris Diamantides and Kostas Tsartsaris.

All of them acted immediately and did their best to rehabilitate my injury and get me back on the field as soon as possible!
