Doc Rivers blasted his critics: “These are mal@@@es!”

THE Doc Rivers he considers that his path answers by itself those who question him. After the failed season of Bucks he himself received harsh criticism and responded to his critics.

“I never thought I was a failure. Failure; What does this mean? Because we didn’t win a title? There are times when I think we are judged by different standards. And the good thing about it is that I have created these standards. So it’s good for me. When the conversation gets to the point that you’re no good, that’s bad@@@es! And that’s because I’ve done it and I can do it“, he told Athletic.

“It’s just hard for anyone to do. So I’ve always looked at it that way. I’m eighth in wins and fourth in playoff wins. My father used to say to me, ‘If someone once said something you would never hear, why should you even pay attention?’ My numbers don’t lie. I’ve been coaching for 25 years and have two losing seasons. And in those two seasons we tried to lose. So I’ve made the playoffs 21 out of 25 seasons. There is nothing you can say or do to take away from me what I have accomplished and I will never allow it. Based on this, I want to do more. And to do more, you have to put yourself in situations where you will be criticized if you don’t. And I’m fine with that“, he added.
