Fans of jiu jitsu had the opportunity to get a preview of what is to come in the coming days, until November 4, where the respective events of all age categories will be held at the World Jiu Jitsu Championship of Heraklion which started on Wednesday at the “Two Aorakis””.
Greek athletes fared brilliantly on the first day of the event, winning four gold, seven silver and four bronze medals, placing third in the medal table behind France (30 medals) and Canada who had ten medals, but the six were gold, placing it above Greece in the ranking. In total medals, however, the Greek champions were second.
