On Friday evening (25/10, 21:45), h Bayern Munich welcomes him Olympic in Germany and the “SAP Garden”, in a match that will conclude the 5th matchday of the Euroleague.
The said match was spoken by Carsen Edwards, with the Bavarian guard standing on the rich talent of the “red and whites”, stressing, however, that his team will have to do everything almost perfectly in order to get the positive result.
Carsen Edwards’ statements in detail:
“It will be difficult against Olympiakos, they are a team with a lot of talent. We have to play our best game and concentrate as much as possible on the things we set out to do. But we’re playing at home so we want to take advantage of that, play hard and limit our mistakes.
I am grateful for our fans, as well as everyone else who comes to our games. The change in atmosphere (due to the Olympiacos fans) will not be a disadvantage, I think.
I try everything to make sure my team wins. I also continued to improve defensively. Defense is a lot about your effort and I focus on that even more. Because you can always give it your all personally, regardless of whether you shoot well that night or not.
I came back to Munich because I like it here. I now know the city, I know my places, the restaurants, the team. I have changed teams often and adapted quickly. But this was an opportunity to come back to a place where I also felt people wanted to see me play and where I enjoyed being.
This is my third year playing with Devin and my second with the others like Andy and Nick. Some of the new kids already know each other. I think everything fits together well.”
