Pegasus “cleansed” Athlos

An ideal premiere for Pegasus. The Thessalonians defeated Athlos Orestiada 3-1 in Polichni for the men’s Volley League premiere and ideally started the effort for a good place in this year’s championship.

Led by the Australian Hamis Hazeldein, who was named MVP of the match in the new institution established by ESAP, Pegasus won a clear victory with superiority in attack and with fewer mistakes than the Akrites.

Athlos, despite being better in areas such as blocking and serving, offensively fell behind with 47% efficiency against the home team’s 56%.

Meir and Hoff made a very good appearance from Pegasus, while Turkish passer Çokur stood out from Athlos.
