His dream will come true at noon on Saturday (02/11) a Scotsman.
Duncan McKay will guide her Albion Rovers against Hearts B in place of… regular manager Sandy Clarke, with his experience being part of “Put a Shift In”which is part of the program of the television show “A View from the Terrace”.
McKay travels around Scotland temporarily taking on various roles at football clubs, including carer, mascot, ball boy and announcer, among others.
This time, things get serious, with the podcaster making his dream come true and sitting on a team’s bench.
“I’ve been dreaming of this for a lifetime, I’m nervous to tell you the truth. Let’s see if all those hours I spent playing Football Manager they will take place” he pointed out, with historic Rovers still in need of the points – with the once-professional team only eighth in the Lowland, the 5th division in Scotland.
?? Welcome to Albion Rovers, @DuncMcKay!
The @TheTerraceTV star will lend a helping hand to Sandy Clark and George Paterson tomorrow afternoon for us @OfficialSLFL fixture against @WeeJambos.#ARFCOKAY ????
