Dermitzakis in the Trial: “Aris is rightfully at the top, he can drive a wedge into the other four”

The coach Pavlos Dermitzakis was hosted on Kyriakos Thomaidis’ show “Trial on SKAI” and commented on the developments in the Stoiximan Super League championship.

What he said in detail:

Regarding the change of coach at Panathinaikos: “It is not only in our country that coaches change with such frequency. Unfortunately, the weakest link in recent years has become the coach because in our years when we were playing football, he was the top of the pyramid and now he has become the last wheel of the train. The change of coach that took place in Panathinaikos cannot bring immediate things, but it can raise the psychology of the players and slowly put his own touches on the tactical part.

The big ones haven’t found a rhythm yet because the small and medium teams have an identity and play football, that’s why they do so much damage to the big ones. From this matchday in Super League 1, only Aris got a clean victory even though he did not play good football”.

For Mars leading the race: “Ares is rightfully at the top of the standings. Aris will be a wedge in the remaining four, he kept the core, he was strengthened with good footballers, they are a team with cohesion and strength in the center, they do not concede goals easily, he kept Moron and as a coach I want to congratulate Akis Manzio because apart from good kid is a great coach who shows great writing samples.”
