Did you say derby? Benfica destroyed Porto with unreal Di Maria!

by

Let me tell you Benfica! Bruno Laze’s team, having the amazing in great spirits Angel Di Mariawho scored twice, turned the derby with Porto into a walkover, winning 4-1 of the “dragons” in “Da Luz”!

An unreal performance for a 36-year-old winger from the Argentine, who, apart from his goals, did everything on the pitch. Excellent and the main, of course, Vangelis Pavlidiswho put his opponent in the… net Olympiakou in the Europa League. The Greek forward had a big part in the 3rd goal of the “eagles” against the “dragons”, after Ba’s turn from the right in the 61′ made the projection for 3-1which was ultimately charged as an own goal to Peres.

Earlier, the hosts had opened the scoring with Carreras in the 30th minute after an assist from Araujo. They even made it 2-0 with Akturkoglou in the 40th minute, with the shot he attempted stopping at right beam. A few minutes later, however, Porto shouted “present”, with him Homorontion to score (44′) after Moura’s assist and incredible blunder by Otamendi!

The second 45 minutes was, however, another story. In the 56th minute, Di Maria gave his team the lead again Panjurism in Lisbon, in the 61st minute, he almost made it 3-1 with Peres’ own goal, with the modest ceremony coming to an end in the 81st minute. Varela did bad tackle on Otamendi and Di Maria hit all 11 stepscompleting (82′) the triumph for his team.

Benfica is now in third place with 25 points and -2 behind Porto, but with game less. Sporting, of course, lead the race with 33 points. We remind you, earlier, he found himself behind in the score 2-0 against Braga, but he made an epic comeback and won 4-2 away from home, in the last match with Ruben Amorim on her bench!
