The national coach, Vassilis Papadakis, sent a message for the premiere of the National Children’s National Team in the Euro U17 qualifiers against Romania.
“We have completed our preparations to the best of our ability ahead of the tournament in Romania and I think the team is in a great shape. We have thoroughly analyzed all three of our opponents so that we can deal with them firmly in our plan, having created our own competitive identity. We want to give our best and represent the National Team worthily in all the matches in order to claim one of the first two places that will give us the qualification to the 2nd phase, which is also the goal we have set before the start of the tournament.
It is important that the majority of the children will find themselves in an official National Team tournament for the first time, as through such matches they will gain the appropriate experience and the necessary supplies to manage similar official tournaments in the future and I believe that such matches help the development of all football players“, says Vassilis Papadakis.
