Vida: “We have the best team, it takes patience to find the necessary chemistry”

Anointed AEK as the favorite to win the title in this year’s Stoiximan Super League o Domagoi Vida!

Speaking to Serbian TV station “Sport Klub”, after the Union’s victory over Asteras AKTOR, the Croatian defender emphasized that his team has the best roster compared to those of the other contenders, while he called it an advantage that his team did not he has European obligations and added that patience is needed so that the necessary chemistry is found.

What the AEK defender said in detail:



For AEK’s game with Asteras AKTOR: “In the end it really turned out to be an easy game, we had a two-man advantage and from one point on it was like a routine game. This year our performance is one cold and one hot, however I believe that from now on game by game we will present ourselves better and better. Asteras defended well while playing with 11 men, but the game then only went one way. We proved that we are still favourites, maybe even the best team in the league. We have to keep winning”.

On the title battle and how five teams are so close in the standings: “I have to praise all the teams, they are extremely strong, PAOK, Aris, Panathinaikos, Olympiacos. I think we still have the best team, the best players, we just need to tune in, find chemistry and play a little bit better. The advantage for us is that we don’t play European competitions while everyone else has games and hopefully that will be the factor that makes the difference and we will be champions at the end of the season. However, we have to be patient, look game by game, win points and in the end I hope to celebrate the title in the beautiful “OPAP Arena” in the company of our wonderful fans”.
